Director of Client Engagement
Carrie Donnell is the Director of Client Engagement at Walkingspree. She is responsible for leading the Client Engagement Team, including Client Success Managers and Client Success Coordinators. Carrie has almost 15 years of experience within the health and wellness industry including areas of account management, corporate program design and promotion, onsite events, health coaching and health and wellness education. Carrie received her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from Texas State University. She is also a Certified Health Coach and Certified Fitness and Nutrition Coach.
Chief Revenue Officer, CRO
Nathan initially joined Walkingspree in January 2015 as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). After a successful four year period with Walkingspree, Nathan was recruited to an enterprise organization in corporate sales. Then, Nathan went back to his passion of serving the wellness industry as the VP of Sales for CuraLinc Healthcare. We are elated that Nathan has returned to Walkingspree as our CRO to showcase Walkingspree as the leader in digital physical activity and wellbeing solution provider to large employers, partnerships, and health insurers. Previously, Nathan spent over 16 years with the world’s largest transportation provider and pioneered operations in Northern Germany for 3 years during that time. Nathan is a proud graduate from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Founder, CEO, Board Member
Hiran Perera co-founded Walkingspree in 2006. Previously, Hiran was the CFO of two successful start-ups where he was instrumental in taking both companies to completion of IPOs and public listing of shares. Hiran is active in the community to promote wellness as he currently serves as a member of Mayor’s Fitness Council for City of San Antonio. Previously, he was the Chair of San Antonio’s American Heart Association’s My Heart My Life Committee and served on the Board of Governors for Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club. Hiran has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and an MBA and holds a professional accounting designation.
Vice President of Administration
Timi Lynch is Vice President of Administration at Walkingspree, responsible for Accounting, Controlling and Tax functions, HR & Benefit Management and Back Office administration. She has over 25 years of management experience in Information Technology, Accounting and Operations for both Fortune 500 companies and start-ups, including serving as Global Vice President of Operations for a small innovation consulting firm, helping to grow the partnership ten-fold in the course of her tenure. Lynch received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
Director of Marketing
As Director of Marketing at Walkingspree, Kelly Howard-Peistrup is responsible for marketing materials, email communications, social media, website development, and online presence and reputation. Kelly brings more than 20 years of successful digital marketing, website development, and graphic design experience to the Walkingspree leadership team working with companies in the hospitality, investment, real estate, education, and non-profit sectors. Kelly earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida Cum Distinction with a concentration in International Studies. She holds certifications in Email Marketing, Content Creation, SEO, Social Media Marketing and Customer Acquisition.
